Tommy Makem Festival of Traditional & Folk Song Tommy Makem Festival of Traditional & Folk Song is an annual festival to celebrate the life of one of Armagh most famous sons, Tommy Makem.  The weekend incorporates a concert, workshops, lectures in various venues throughout Armagh City.

William Kennedy Piping Festival - November The William Kennedy Piping Festival is one of the largest in Ireland. Consisting of concerts, workshops and recitals it is one not to be missed. William Kennedy born in Banbridge in the 1800's developed the uilleann pipes to what we have today and this festival is a celebration of the uilleann pipe music and traditional Irish instruments, including workshops, musicains come from Scotland, Belgium, France, Greece to this wonderful festival.
