Founded in 1894, CAvan is one of the oldest clubs in
Ireland. The 18-hole, par 70 layout measures 5634 metres. A feature
of the parkland course is the number of mature trees, some over 100
years old. The closing 6 holes are a challenge for all golfers.
Facilities include a bar, restaurant, PGA professional and driving
range. Cavan County Golf club is situated 2 miles from Cavan Town
on the R198 to Killeshandra.
