Cliffs of Moher County Clare Ireland

The Magnificent Cliffs of Moher

One of Europe's outstanding coastal features, where the giant, rugged coastline rises to nearly 700 feet of sheer cliff above the Atlantic Ocean.

O'Brien's Tower, which was constructed in the early 19th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists, is located on Moher's highest cliff.

From its exceptional vantage position you can view the Clare coastline, the Aran Islands and mountains as far apart as Kerry and Conemara.

The Biddy Early Brewery

is Ireland's first pub brewery. It was opened in September 1995 and has been brewing a number of totally natural beers, successfully, ever since.

The brewery's success lies in the fact that customers can come in, watch their beer being made and even take part! The brews are chemical free with no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, colorants or stabilisers (used to neutralise the effects of transportation). The brews are brewed on demand ensuring a fresh and tasty brew !

Ennis Information Age Town

Ennis became Ireland's Information Age Town on September 24th 1997. The town and it's residents will now benefit from a £15 million prize from eircom to develop Ennis as one of the most technologically advanced towns in the world.

Nowhere else has a community had the experience of living in a town where all the communication tools of the 21st century are available to them in such abundance. The goal of the project is for people to come to terms with using technology as part of their daily lives. This project is seen as a catalyst for the way we will live in the future.

The Burren Painting Centre

is based at the O'Neills Town Home, approved by the Irish Tourist Board, situated in the Spa town of Lisdoonvarna, in scenic North Clare.  A wonderful location for exploring the 100 square miles of the famous Burren rockscapes and miles of spectacular Atlantic coastline just nearby.
