Carrigaline Wren Boys Street Carnival - December
Carrigaline Wren Boys Street festival held on St Stephen's Day is a major street carnival which takes place from 11.00am until 1.00pm on the Main Street when traffic through the town is diverted. People take to the street in colourful costumes as per the Wren Boy tradition, and many people come to watch and participate in this annual event. The traditional meet of the South Union Hunt with 15 pairs of hounds and over 100 horses make a wonderful spectacle as they parade through the crowded streets. Carrigaline is the place to be on St. Stephen's Day.

West Cork Rally - March
The West Cork Rally featured eight stages on Saturday and a further eight on Sunday for March 2010, many of which are regarded as some of the best rallying roads in county Cork.
 

Cork Choral Festival - April/May
The Cork International Choral Festival in Ireland is a world class festival celebrating the very best of choral and vocal music at the start of May every year. The programme includes prestigious international and national competitions, gala and fringe concerts, public performances, and an education programme. Follow the festival as it moves from the different venues such as Lewis Glucksman Gallery, the Honan Chapel on UCC grounds, St Finbarr's Cathedral, St Francis Church and many more venues.

Ballydehob Jazz Festival - April/May
Ballydehob Jazz Festival held the end of April, start of May enjoys great music in the bars and streets where people can enjoy street entertainment and a traders fair where the crowds sampled good food and fine craftwork whilst enjoying the music. Some headliners were Michael Buckley, considered to be the finest saxophonist in Ireland today. Andreas Varady the 12 year-old guitar prodigy from Limerick.
The Samuel Hudson Quartet, led by the Berlin based saxophonist Samuel Hudson. Most of the performances are free and you can enjoy Ballydehob Jazz Festival in a relaxed carnival style.

Bandon Music Festival - June
Bandon Music Festival is a music festival which started in 1996 under the name of a well-known jig, the first “Humours of Bandon” as a traditional music festival which then grew their wings to become the BANDON MUSIC FESTIVAL and some of the headline acts have included Hothouse Flowers and Juliet Turner, Mundy, Gerry Fish & The Mudbug Club, Aslan, the Saw Doctors, Mary Black, The Blizzards and Republic of Loose, Duke's Special ,Jack L, Delorentos and Fred.  On the Music Trail the music was a mixture of trad sessions, folk and rock music. We are very proud of what we consider to be one of the best music festivals in Ireland.

Cork Midsummer Festival -  June
Cork Midsummer Festival offers an array of Dance, Music and Theatre treats each Summer in Cork City.

Cork City Marathon - June
Cork City Marathon Cork a great day to support all those who take part in this city marathon which goes through the Jack Lynch Tunnel, in Cork. The course time limit is 6 hours. There are five relay stages, for teams of two to five individuals. Each team member completes their leg(s) before handing over their team’s wristband (you’ll find that in your race pack at registration) to their team mate at the fixed change-over points.

West Cork Chamber Music Festival - June/July
West Cork Chamber Music Festival offers some great music in venues such as St Brendan's Church, The Brick Oven Restaurant, Bantry and Bantry House. The guest can enjoy music from some of the greats such as Schumann, Mozart, Fleishmann, Vivaldi and more.

Cork Live at the Marquee - June/July
Cork Live at the Marquee organised by Aiken Promotions has played host to a number of great acts in the past, such as Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Tom Jones, Gypsy Kings, Tracy Chapman, Shayne Ward, Westlife, The Prodigy, Bell X1, Josh Ritterer, Lady Gaga, Anastacia, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, and many more, do not miss this event in Co Cork.

Skibbereen Arts Festival - July
Skibbereen Arts Festival offers much for the visitor it offers an excellent programme of events with many world-class national and international acts coming to town. Highlights include the 4th Cork X Southwest Music Festival, a gala concert commemorating Canon James Goodman, an excellent Sound & Vision programme of films and drama and the very special Skibbereen Children’s Festival. Abbeystrewry Church is a great venue for many of the events with permission from Reverend Bruce Hayes.
 
 
Cobh Peoples Regattav- August
Cobh Peoples Regatta, enjoy this 3 day August festival, where you'll find live music in the many pubs and open air. A fun day out for all the family at Cobh Regatta ranging from Sailing Competitions,  Busking Competition, choosing the Cobh Peoples Regatta Queen’s, Fancy Dress Parade, Bouncy Castles, Clown, Face Painting and much more.

Cork Folk Festival - September/October
Cork Folk Festival is one of Ireland’s oldest festival of traditional,folk music and has taken place annually in September. Put together from year to year purely on a voluntary basis by a dedicated group of enthusiasts, sometimes with the help of major sponsorship, often by a combination of various sponsors and supporters, it’s endurance is a tribute to the energy and labour of it’s workers. Enjoy the spirit of the indigenous music, song and dance scene where you can hear music from premier national and international exponents of folk and traditional music.

Kinsale Fringe Jazz Festival - October
Kinsale Fringe Jazz Festival gives an alternative venue for the Jazz if you happen to be in Kinsale. Enjoy some wonderful food in Kinsale and after soak up some easy listening or heart thumping jazz, all is on offer.

Cork Jazz Festival - October
Cork Jazz Festival, held in the month of October, sets Cork alight with the sounds of jazz echoing throughout Cork City Centre. Follow the Jazz to the many destinations from The Gresham Metropole Hotel, The Imperial Hotel, Moran's Silver Springs Hotel and lots more. Cork Jazz a wonderful weekend to be enjoyed with some great names from the Jazz scene.

Kinsale Gourmet Festival - October
Kinsale Gourmet Festival, much to be enjoyed here from the Mad Hatters Taste of Kinsale, an escorted tour of the 12 Members of Kinsale's Good Food Circle who will present spectacular dishes from their kitchens bearing testimony to the culinary skills of the chefs of Kinsale, to a superb afternoon of fun & frolics with MC Derek Davis in the Fruits de Mer, Actons Hotel, Kinsale Suite.

Cork Film Festival - November
Corona Cork Film Festival is one of Ireland’s premier cultural events. Established in 1956, the festival has enjoyed a steady growth in scale, in numbers of admissions and guests, in reputation and in media coverage. The festival has developed an ever-increasing audience of general public, film lovers and filmmakers. Corona Cork Film Festival is held in high regard on a local, national and international level. In Cork city and region it is one the most important events in the social and cultural calendar. The programme is wide-ranging, an eclectic mix of big budget pictures, world cinema, innovative independent films, documentaries and short films from all over the globe.
