Lough Erne is made up of the Lower and Upper Lough Erne with the Upper Lough being just a number of small rivers travelling between land and peninsulas, it is the Lower Lough Erne that is the largest section of the Lough, on which Enniskillen is located just between the two Loughs. While visiting Enniskillen take a trip to Enniskillen Castle on the banks of the River Erne with its distinctive two turrets of the Watergate, the outside of the castle, and the 15 century Castle Keep, Enniskillen Castle now houses Enniskillen Castle Museum.
