The Heath Golf Club Portlaoise |

Golf has been played on the Heath since
the 1890's and the present club dates
from 1930. The course is laid out on
open heath
land, incorporating three natural lakes
and was the first Laois Club to extend
to 18 holes over thirty years ago. Furze
features prominently on many holes and
the course is a plaze of yellow from
early Spring onwards. Facilities
available include a 10-bay driving
range, lake-side putting green and two
practice areas as well as a magnificent
clubhouse opened 10 years ago.
Often described as an "inland links" the
Heath offers a unique challenge to all
levels of golfer.
