Athlone Golf Club,
Hudson Bay, Athlone, Co Roscommon was founded in 1892.
It is a superb 18-hole parkland
course situated on the shores of Lough
Ree in the centre of the country bounded
on three sides by picturesque Lough Ree.

Ballaghaderreen Golf Course
Ballaghaderreen GolfClub was founded in 1936
and has
approximately 300 members with a split
of approx 50/50 between Local and
Distance Members. The
Course is a 9 hole parkland course.
Par for the 18 holes is 70, course
length 5339 metres.
The course is situated some 3 miles
outside Ballaghaderreen and is well
sign-posted from the town
and a 2.5 hours drive from
Dublin.
Roscommon Golf Club
This 18 hole
course has undergone extensive
redevelopment over the last couple of
years including the upgrading of 9
greens to USGA Specification.
Strokestown Golf Club
The Golf Club is situated about 2km east
of Strokestown and about 20km west of
Longford, in the townland of Bumlin,
along the N5 Dublin- Westport primary
route. It is a
9 hole course.
Boyle Golf Club founded in 1911, this
9 hole course was designed by Eddie Hackett.
