Brennanstown Riding School one of
Ireland's premier Equestrian
establishments where
we have been running for over
three decades and we cater for several
types of riding customers.
Whether you are looking for
regular riding lessons in the Dublin
area, trekking in the Wicklow Mountains
or livery for your horse we offer a
service that is second to none. We cater
for both adult riders and children aged
six and older in our unique stables just
outside Bray in Co Wicklow.
Located beside the N11 we are
easily accessible and yet we have direct
access to over 1,000 acres of trekking
without ever having to ride on a road.
Lessons take place in indoor and outdoor
riding arenas with qualified
instructors, catering for all standards
of rider.
Brennanstown is a family business which
has Irish Event Rider Louise Bloomer and
her brother Gerald Bloomer, Gold
Medallist in Dressage at the World
University Equestrian Championships in
Tokyo 2004, on our teaching staff. |

Calliaghstown Riding Centre is regarded
as one of the best known Equestrian
Centres in Ireland. We are situated in
Rathcoole, in a quiet rural setting in
the foothills of the Dublin and Wicklow
mountains, yet just 15 miles from Dublin
City. No matter what you are looking
for: equestrian holidays and vacations,
as well as child and adult horse riding
holidays, you can be sure of safe
quality horses, many of which were bred
at the centre by its owner Grainne
Sugars, who has ridden internationally
for Ireland. Also on
offer is The Wicklow Trail Ride,
starting at Calliaghstown Riding Centre,
explores the beautiful Wicklow Mountains
and Glens of the "Garden of Ireland"
finishing in the Monastic 7th Century

and livery centre at Glendalough House,
located on the 1,500 acre estate
grounds of rolling parkland, pastures
and woodlands, and situated in the
Wicklow Mountains only 40 minutes drive
from Dublin City along the main road to
Glendalough.

Maltfield Stud is situated on 25 acres in the heart of
Wicklow, family run Maltfield Stud
offers horse and pony owners a variety
of livery services tailored to suit the
needs of the individual and delivered in
a friendly yet professional manner.
Located only minutes from
dressage and show
jumping competition venues,
Maltfield Stud could not be better
situated for the competitive rider. The
hunting enthusiast would be interested
to know that Maltfield lies within the
hunting boundaries of the Bray Harriers
and Wicklow Hunt. A Coillte forest,
approved for horse riding lies next to
the stud for lazy hacks with
breathtaking views of the Wicklow
mountains and coastline. We are only
minutes from Brittas Bay beach for a
leisurely ride or swim.
For those new to riding or those
who want to improve their skills,
lessons are now available through our
newly opened Riding School. Lessons are
available for children and adults and we
are taking bookings now.
