driving distance. Skerries has a long sandy beach, safe for swimming
and perfect for childrens' activities. There is also a beautiful
seaside walk that runs along the rocky coast. Sailing, fishing,
horseback riding and cycling are all available in the area. Further
afield, the historic Boyne Valley, the Mourn Mountains and Carlingfor
are all worth the drive. Skerries has an excellent rail link with
Dublin city, which can be reached in around 30 minutes.
