Cork has a number of excellent walking routes with many diverse way marked routes and hikes available over lots of different terrain such as road ways, forestry trails, bog roads, cliff walks, moorland and more. You will get to experience some of Irelands ancient history along these routes, coming across some of Ireland's ancient holy wells, still visited and respected, standing stones, ring forts, cairns, and ancient monuments, all leaving a trail of Ireland's past.

Hoping you enjoy your Walking Experience in Cork City and County, and just to follow the usual safety rules, taking a mobile phone, map of the area, compass, proper clothing and waterproofs, walking shoes, necessary food and water. West Cork
